Counselling for Couples
Healthy relationships are a key part of feeling good in life and it’s important to invest time & support in keeping them strong.
Life’s changes and stresses often put pressure on our relationship and family life. When things feel tough you may have more disagreements or show less affection than in the past, and this can lead to more distress. Focused counselling sessions provide a safe space to help you and your partner understand the causes and impact of these stresses and provide tools for improved communication.
Examples of common stresses include work situations like FIFO or long hours, children’s changing needs, financial stress and the needs of extended family.

Counselling with Neurodiversity
Family life can be challenging but add in the complexities of neurodiversity and the relationships of partners, parent/child and siblings can often get tested.
An important way to maintain a caring and supportive family unit is through understanding how individuals in the family relate and respond to each other. Investing in healthy relationships can lead to significant reduction in escalations and tensions.
Counselling can support you to find ways of balancing the needs of each family member whilst valuing what neurodiversity adds to the family. Getting help to prioritise healthy and respectful relationships can make family life feel fun again!
